Felix Radavero joined Design Hotels™ in January 2014 and took over responsibility for Portfolio Development, Account Management, Membership Services, and Distribution & Revenue Management. He has experience in financial and strategic analysis, as well as in business planning at the hotel and corporate level. Prior to joining Design Hotels™, he was Cluster Director of Finance at The Ritz Carlton and Marriott Hotels in Berlin.

Performance Review

While a growing market of boutique hotels has increased the number of properties that desire to work with Design Hotels™, our selection criteria remains among the most stringent in the industry. We look for properties that incorporate local integration, possess a wholly unique concept, have an esteemed brand (not just a nice corporate identity or logo), and believe strongly in sustainability and giving back. Our hotels are driven by people with visions that cannot be replicated. Today, SPG drives more guests to our hotels, but in no way does it impinge upon the visions of our member properties or their design freedom. For Design Hotels™ properties, the partnership with SPG means more demand, higher ADR, and increased ancillary spend and hotel brand awareness. For our Community members, it means recognition and benefits, plus the ability to earn and redeem points. And for the Starwood Preferred Guest, the partnership now means Original Experiences, new destinations, and exposure to an entire world of lifestyle hotels.
